Do you have a multi-channel comms background, crisis, media management experience with skills in leading internal comms teams and driving positive engagement and change?

We have an 6 month opportunity to join a Brighton Higher Education Institution- sector experience isn’t essential although experience of internal comms within a complex or matrix business environment is required.

Key responsibilities:

• Lead a high-performing internal communications team on behalf of Marketing and Communications

• Play a leadership role in the wider communications team, and the Marketing and Comms department

• Lead and oversee strategic projects to continue evolving student and employee plans, activities, and channels

• Have lead oversight of internal communication campaign activity and measurement

• Provide specialist advice to senior leaders and about how internal communication can help them to achieve their objectives

For this Head of Internal Comms role you will need:

• Proven experience in a senior comms or internal comms role

• Experience of leading an internal comms team

• Demonstrable experience of planning, developing and delivering multi-media comms and engagement campaigns

• Excellent stakeholder management, communication and written experience
