Brighton / Hybrid

Salary Circa £40,000

My client is looking for a skilled Packaging Design Manager from an FMCG background. They are looking for a creative person with skills in conceptualisation, design and execution for packaging projects. Working with the NPD, Creative and Marketing teams.

You would be responsible for themanagement and design of packaging for all products, ensuring they are fit for purpose and created to encourage maximum impact on the end customer for both B2B and B2C markets.

Knowledge of packaging design and end-to-end print processes and a strong attention to detail are essential.

Responsibilities for this Packaging Designer include:

  • ·Take packaging design briefs from the NPD team and Senior Stakeholdersin the Creative andMarketingteams

  • ·Be up to date on packaging design trends in the Beauty,Cosmetics,FMCGorhealthindustry

  • ·Produce mock-ups of designsforproduct packing,as required.

  • ·Present packaging designs toseniorstakeholders and feedback design amends tothewider team

  • ·Workwith the Designers,Artworkersand 3D Designer & Visualiseron application of the design

  • ·Manage teams workload to achieve team deadlines and critical paths.

  • ·Own weekly packaging meetings with the widerteams.

For this Packaging Designer job you must have:

  • ·At least4years’ experience as aSeniorPackaging Designer in retail/FMCG field. Preferably in the Health & Beauty sector.

  • ·Proven portfolio of successful Pack Designs, from brief toconsumer.

  • ·Solid understanding of relevant software (Adobe Creative Cloud)

  • ·Fully competent with the full print and production process and able to set up packaging files to be print-ready.

  • ·Confident in liaising with both UK and International suppliers.

  • ·Ideally previous line management experience.

  • ·Ability to work to time critical deadlines.

  • ·High degree of creative and understanding of design principles.

  • ·Understanding of technical limitation of print and relevant pack formats; tubes, bottles, labels, carton etc.
