Business Development Executive (B2B)

Brighton, East Sussex

Talent Hub is working in partnership with a growing UK wide business in the professional services sector. Their marketing team in Brighton is looking for a someone with skills and experience in researching and writing proposals and case studies, for new business pitches in a professional services capacity. This is not a cold calling BD role, it’s more strategic and based around consultative BD in a professional services capacity.

A car is required for this job, for bi-weekly (approx.) travel to the other offices in the Sussex/Surrey. This job can be based in either Brighton or Weybridge office, with travel to one of the other office locations.

Responsibilities for this Business Development Executive job include:

  • Supporting the Marketing Manager in developing, creating and delivering business development documentation and activity to both B2b and B2C audiences

  • Conducting research into potential new clients to support the delivery of case studies and proposals

  • Assisting with commercial activity to support the development of client relationships

  • Drafting content for the websites including case studies and blogs

  • Assisting with management of internal and external events, including venue research, attendance tracking and delivering communications

  • Supporting on broader marketing projects and campaigns

For this Business Development Executive job, you will need:

  • At least 4 years’ experience in writing marketing materials, business development documents, ideally in professional services or a B2B sector.

  • Proven skills in traditional marketing activities

  • Previously done company and corporate research on sectors and industries.

  • Excellent written and communications skills, creating copy and content for both digital and printed marketing materials

  • Successfully organised business events

  • Willingness to travel between offices in Sussex and Surrey, to work with the regional offices is essential
