Social Media Manager

Crawley / North Sussex

Salary £60,000 - £65,000

Hybrid 3 days office based 2 from home.

Talent Hub is hiring an experienced Social Media Manager for an established and large organisation with an office in the North of Sussex. They need a Social Media Specialist who can increase their numbers of followers on social media communities, increase engagement, brand awareness and sales. They are also looking for someone who can develop their influencer programme and develop some creative and enticing social campaigns. This Social Media role will manage a team of 2 and an external agency.

This job required 3 days per week in the office and 2 days WFH, this is NOT a fully remote job.

For this Social Media Manager job, you should have:

  • Previously worked for a large organisation within a consumer focused Social Media Manager position, within an in-house marketing department.

  • Worked at Social Media Manager level for a consumer based, with experience of community management, customer insight and working with influencers.

  • Successfully developed and delivered social media strategies for multiple consumer focussed channels.

  • Experience of working with cross functional teams, perhaps customer services teams to align messaging and internal marketing, brand and events teams.

  • Managed a Social Media team, external agency and sizable budget.

  • Be educated to degree level in marketing or a recognised social media qualification.

Responsibilities for this Social Media Manager job include:

  • Maintain and develop the organisations existing social media platforms and channels, internally and externally.

  • Evaluate and interpret the behaviours of the social media customer against that of the customer segmentation to improve campaign performance and customer engagement. Work closely with the Marketing and Research & Insight teams to identify target audiences for social media campaigns.

  • Optimise Social Media Campaigns and work with their social media agency to manage and develop the performance.

  • Ensure all social media marketing campaigns adhere to market regulations i.e. Advertising Standards, CAP codes and GDPR.

  • Monitor social media activities of the organisation, ensuring that all repetitional issues are flagged and discussed with the Communications Manager.
