Communications Executive – Youth Market

Salary £34,000 pro rata

6 month Fixed Term Contract plus benefits

Brighton / Hybrid (2 days office based)

Do you have a Marketing Communications background specifically focused on the Youth Market or Higher Education setting? This 6 month fixed term contract requires first class copywriting, editing and attention to detail , with experience in creating a variety of marketing content (email, video, newsletter’s, web content) engaging with the youth market across a mix of inspiring, honest and relevant communications.

Key responsibilities include:

  • End-to-end ownership of communication campaigns and projects that bring their experience to life, support improvements and improve retention.

  • Working with the youth market to improve their overall mix of communication channels, messaging and engagement opportunities that help engagement.

  • Lead on insight and voice, creating communication that addresses key issues through visible dialogue.

  • Developing and managing a community of ambassadors to help generate authentic content.

  • Commissioning, creating and editing relevant content across internal and external channels that helps the youth market understand decisions.

  • Managing multiple projects, working with a variety of teams; influencing and advising partners and key stakeholders to deliver the best outcome their customers.

    What you will need for this Communications Executive job:

  • Proven experience in a Communications Executive role where you have owned communications and managed your own work load within the Youth Market or Education setting.

  • Effective writing and editorial ability that can translate on paper, screen and face to face communications.

  • Ability to work at pace, creating good quality content, plans, and ideas to a high standard. Experience of stakeholder management within a large youth focused of education organisation.

  • Ability to make decisions at a strategic level while also ensuring hands-on delivery of required work.
