​Digital Development Manager - eCommerce 

Salary circa £60,000 - £70,000 

Brighton / Hybrid 3 days office based 

You will be leading development and digital projects, creating a strategic, digital solutions roadmap. The company are going through an exciting transition introducing and deploying composable architecture, digital strategy delivery and mobile applications. 

The company are leaders in their field with a focus on creating a memorable consumer experience for their customers. An eCommerce background agency side or in-house would be beneficial although not essential. 

Key responsibilities include:

• Leading development projects working across teams and within the IT, Digital and Data roadmap.

• Delivering App Development small change projects.

• Working with Marketing and Data teams research and analyse usage and performance of digital applications to identify opportunities for new, or improving existing, features and functionalities. An understanding of Hotjar, GA4 and experimentation platforms, such as VWO, would beneficial.

• Ensure all projects and project activities are delivered on time, to budget and quality, using Waterfall and Agile project delivery.

• Work closely with Business Systems Analyst to help map requirements and maintain processes.

• Ensure the website and digital applications adhere to current E-privacy and GDPR regulations, maintaining a secure and robust framework for managing cookies, CMS permissions, accessibility and GA4 on their sites.

• Working with internal teams and VWO (or other experimentation software), develop, deliver and evaluate A/B and multi-variate testing as part of a strategic approach to continuously improve business performance.

What you will need:

• Previous experience of delivering complex digital architecture within a modern software development and deployment environment.

• Experience of App Development and Composable architecture.

• Digital Strategy and Delivery, including mobile / pwa applications.

• Data Analytics across GA, Sitecore, Hot Jar SEM Rush.

• Understanding of experience of VWO.

• A background in Ecommerce, sales funnels and conversion optimisation would be desirable.

• Experience in leading and developing a small team with excellent stakeholder management.
