Marketing Communications Coordinator

Brighton, East Sussex

Salary - £29,500

6-month contract – to Permanent.

Talent Hub is working in partnership with a leading organisation in the education sector. The marketing team there work across all marketing channels to drive awareness for their varied and wider services. They are looking for a skilled Marketing Assistant level person with 2-3 years solid marketing experience across all disciplines, mostly marketing communications to join the team, deliver campaigns and work with their internal stakeholders to produce high quality content, market research and campaigns.

Responsibilities for this Marketing Communication Coordinator include:

  • Create, write, develop and maintain content for various cross channel marketing campaigns, including: websites, writing and commissioning marketing emails, blogs and other social media; print and digital materials; preparation of collateral, information and communications for events.

  • Working closely with colleagues in the Marketing, Creative and Digital teams on campaign activity.

  • Develop and deliver integrated tactical campaigns, working closely with internal stakeholders and the marketing team to ensure that campaign activity across all channels and audiences are co-ordinated, aligned with the brand to maximise contribution to acquisition objectives.

  • To work closely with colleagues in the creative and digital Services teams in developing and delivering creative briefs for content for use across a range of channels.

  • Provision of marketing reports and recommendations, including evaluations of campaign activity and reviews

For this Marketing Communications Coordinator job you should be:

  • At least HND or Foundation Degree level of education in either Business Studies or Marketing

  • 2-3 years’ experience in a marketing role, ideally in education or a consumer focussed brand.

  • Proven skills in copywriting and content creation for marketing campaigns including, digital, social media, website, blogs, PRand events

  • Ability to plan and implement successful multi-channel marketing campaigns extending over several months and to ensure that they support the corporate marketing strategy

  • Substantial skills in content creation, including ability to plan ongoing development of engaging, audience-focused content for print, email, social media, web and other digital platforms

  • Have working knowledge of digital marketing best practice – especially GDPR
